So, I'm currently using the bed stairs as my desk.

I finally have some photos of our place! Mum's been harassing me for them since we got here. Ahahaha. Now, our place is reeeeally small. Like, 23m2 small. This is a room layout to give an idea.
Yep. Pretty small, eh? But, I digress~ So, here we go. Our apartment is called フルールヴィル which is katakana for Fleur Ville. It's a nice place and like I keep saying, it's in an awesome spot. We couldn't ask for a better location. I just wish we had a bit more kitchen space!
Welcome to my kitchen. Notice anything strange? That's right! I have NO COUNTER SPACE! Like, none. At all. I've been using my laundry machine as my counter top. True story. I used the stove as my counter when it's turned off, though. It's got glass on top and the burners are under it, I guess. Kinda like what mum has.
I had to take two photos, since my back was against the bathroom wall. Our bathroom has a tub and shower and a potty, which is not shown. It's just a plain one. No heated seat. Darn. But, we have to use our shower area for our laundry drying area! There's even a fan installed to blow heated air on it to get them dry faster.
One thing I will say is that there's a LOT of storage space! However, we only have one desk and that's where all the outlets are. So, I'm currently using the bed stairs as my desk. Oh well. We're currently using a really old futon. It's really thin. But, it's a bed, so we'll be grateful.

And now, I thought I would do a walking tour so that you can get an idea of the size~ Enjoy!
I'd like to also draw attention to my lunch. I've been practicing my kanji a little and I decided to practice using my lunch.
I had myself a very yummy ham sammich with the kanji for Arashi done in mustard. Yep. I'm awesome.

So, I like the green fruit/veggie juices you can find in stores.

So, Sendai is nice. I haven't really taken photos of the place, yet. Waiting for all of our stuff to get sent here before we take real photos. It's really nice even if it's small. Ahahaha. We don't really have much of a kitchen, but it's all good. I'll take photos as soon as all of our stuff has been sent and whatnot. I do have a photo from our front door, though. We live in an awesome area!
I went out with a friend recently. we just walked around downtown Sendai, but it was quite nice! We live near Morisekinoshita Station and it's about a 15minute train ride into the downtown area. It's not bad, but it's expensive! 400yen to take that trip! Ouch!
We also stumbled upon a small festival. It was called a Hiway Festival. Basically, it looked like it was showcasing major attractions along the main highway towards Tokyo. Or something. There were people from around Miyagi and Fukushima there. They also had some drumming on the main stage. We weren't able to get a good seat, but I tried to take a few photos.
I also found some cute food recently. So, I like the green fruit/veggie juices you can find in stores. It tastes like sunshine to me. True story. And I guess Vocaloid was doing a collaboration with a Japanese veggie drink. It tasted awesome and the drink art was cute. We also bought some cute animal crackers recently. They tasted like friend chicken! XD
And lastly, I found an awesome coin purse recently. The Disney Store was having a massive sale and we managed to find this for like 500yen. I couldn't help myself. It's Mickey with a mustache!

We got them!

I have a very important announcement to make.

David and I got our visas today!

We applied for them this morning and they were approved and ready to go within 45minutes! Eeeeeeee! I'm so happy! I thought it was going to be a long and drawn out process, but NO! We got them! We're officially card carrying gaijin again! And they're good for 1year. (We can renew them next August.) YAY!

This just about sums up my feels. <3

I found the CN Tower!

So, I know I said I'd post photo's from Taipei. Sorry! I have them, so let's go!

Taipei was ok. We had never even thought about going there before, so I had no idea what to expect or what to do. But, I found us a nice hotel for a really good price. We had a really nice flight over, too. Flew on China Airlines and it was really comfy. The food was excellent and it was a smooth flight. We left late, though. Grabbed lunch in Narita (a turkey sammich) and found the traditional Arashi member ad.

So, we landed about 2 hours late. And we landed in a thunder storm. Oh well. When we got to our room, I took a few photos. We had the Business Suite, and it was lovely. The bathroom was bigger than our rooms at BH! And it had a jet tub, too. Oooh~ <3
We made a quick stop to the conbini and bought a couple snacks. I got a really good cold coffee and some cute Pokemon star snack things.
The next day we went to the National Palace Museum. The exhibits were nice and there was a big exhibit on jewelery. They had traditional Chinese area, but most of it was dedicated to Cartier! It was lovely! I wish we could take photos, but it was nice.
That night we went to Miramar, which is like a big mall/entertainment area. We walked around and got dinner at a dim sum restaurant. It was nice and they gave us a LOT of food! Like, wow. And then we stopped off for a quick drink at Starbucks. Caramel Macciatto~ Yum. <3
And then we hopped onto the massive ferris wheel. It was really pretty! My camera still won't take nice photos, but I tried!
And then, on our last full day we went to the Taipei101 building. It used to be the tallest building in the world. There's a 5 floor mall leading up to floor 6 with the elevator. We got in line to go up and David said to me that he hoped there would be ice cream on the top floor. I said, probably not. The elevator going up was really fast! Like, up to floor 89 in 45 seconds fast! It was neat! And the view was incredible!
And you know what we found up there?
Yep. True story. So, they actually let people go outside on the 90th floor! And they had murals of other tall buildings. I found the CN Tower!
We went for a walk around the shopping malls in the area after that and found an interesting ad for vodka.
After that, we hopped back for a quick nap then we walked over to the Night Market. It was basically like an outside Pacific Mall. Nothing too exciting. And it was expensive! So, we didn't buy anything. Lol.
The flight back to Japan was nice. Quite smooth and it was really nice to be back in Japan. We got through customs ok and here we are~
