They reminded me of Inukshuks.

So, I have lots of photos from our pottery day trip. I kept forgetting to upload them. Sorry. Ahahaha. So, to start off, Tatsuru was laaate! He was our chauffeur for the day. Lol. He was like 15 minute late. So, while we were waiting we all hung about and took photos. I wish David was able to come, but he had to work. Booo. But, eventually tatsuru showed up and we took off. Shinta came with us, too! It was nice. He's one of our chefs and he's a sweetheart. :3
So, the trip to Tatsuru's parents house was pretty uneventful. Although, George put his iPod on. He has a really, REALLY eclectic taste in music. Like, more weird than Angel and I. As such, I popped on my headphones and just chilled.

So, when we got to tatsuru's place, we were served tea and strawberry cream cookies. Yummmm~ That taste like those wafer, ice cream cookie things that we love so much. The electric pink strawberry ones. Yum.
 After that, we wandered about outside for a bit, just chatting and taking photos. And that's when we discovered them: THE CATS. They have like 3 cats. And they were all sooooo cute! We're all starved for fuzzy, cuddly affection, so we all started chasing the cats around so we could pet them. The cats were scared of us, though. So, for most of the day they avoided us. ;___;

After failing to harass the cats, we went for a short tour and intro to pottery. They use a special kiln and ash to make the glaze. George was our translator, and man, was that a mistake. But, still, it went ok. And then it was time to start. Tatsuru's father made a few things for us as examples, then we all took a stab at it. Although, george had to go twice since he screwed up the first time. Lol. It was harder than we thought!
I might add, everyone was speeding the turn table around 90 miles an hour. And I... I went slower than gramma's driving. (Sorry gramma. Love you!) Ahahaha. Yup. We all put our... creations together on a board with Tatsuru's fathers. Betcha can't guess which are the professional ones... Lol.
After the wheel pottery experience, we tried just hand sculpting. I made a leaf dish, an owl and fish. Big, square mouthed fish. With googly eyes. Yes~ I know they are amazing. They look ever better in person. They're supposed to be chopstick holders. Lol.
After washing our hands, we played with the kitties. We procured some food for them and suddenly they were all about being with us. Go figure. And then it was lunch time! Cold soba noodles and tempura! With tea~ Yuuummmm!
We ate and then played more with the cats, then it was time to pile back in the bus. We took a trip to a national park and walked about. It was kinda cold and grey outside, but the park was pretty neat! The leaves were all cool and it just looked cool.
At this point, however, we had to cross a bridge. A bridge that was like 20 feet above the water. With no real barriers. And it wobbled when people crossed it. It was awesome. However, some people failed to see the novelty of it.
Yeah~ We all felt bad... as we jumped about making the bridge move more. Muahahaha. There was a little area that had little rock piles. They reminded me of Inukshuks. Pretty neat.
So, after that we walked up some RIDICULOUSLY steep stairs and took a look around. Very pretty. But again, poor Angel. She was having kittens.
She made it back down ok and back across the bridge without incident. After we had finished, we left and went to Regina. No, not that Regina. The Regina onsen and spa. It was really relaxing. I loooove onsens! They are amazing!

And then we went home. The end~ <3

So, naturally, I had to take a photo.

Went to town with David and Gayner yesterday. Good times. Went to Black Shop first and bought a few more figures for my desk. We just watched the 2 Evangelion movies a few nights ago, so I was in a mood for Asuka and Rei figures for my desk. So, I got a cute Christmas set, got a cute Asuka witch (to match my other witch), an Azumanga Daioh set (that refuses to stay standing), an Angry doll (hAngry&Angry, they're the characters from a clothing brand I like) and a Miyuki figure. My collection is growing! Yay! (My video game collection is beside my computer. And Angry is not in this photo. Lol.)
So, I had KFC for lunch. Got the Brazier sandwich set meal. Meh. Wasn't too impressed, but it was white meat chicken, and I had just gotten McDonalds the day before. So, whatever. That, and there was a HUGE poster of Matsumoto Jun advertising for KFC, so I guess I was drawn in by it. I should've gotten what he was advertising, but whatever. Maybe next time.
After lunch, we just kinda wandered about AEON. Bought a few things for my room. (A PINK Christmas tree and wreath! Oh yes!) I also tried a few of the UFO Catchers. No dice. I don't think the ones at Aeon are too good. I have zero luck on them. Grrrr. Oh well.

So, after Aeon, we popped over to MegaStage. And our first stop? SEGA WOOOOORLD! WOOOO! I spend waaaaay too much money there! True story. Good god. But, I won a cute Minnie snowman plush. And I won a few keychains. One for David, Gayner and myself. (Angry is the bunny in this photo.)
So, we hit up the grocery store after. And what did we find? PINK PEPSI. I wish I could make this up. Strawberry and Milk flavoured Pepsi.
We also restocked our beverage supply. Lots of Lemon Water, Apple iced Tea and pop to last us a while. I also bought a Sparkling Apple drink. It tastes like sparkling apple flavoured iced tea. Kinda weird.
Picked up some snacks, too. Lots of chocolate. We tend to eat a lot of chocolate. But hey, it's a super food, right? Right? And Megumi brought us in this Melty Kiss chocolate recently, so I bought some. It was really good. And it really does just like insta-melt in your mouth. Sooo good.
I also found another random boyband member I like advertising for stuff at the grocery store. So, naturally, I had to take a photo. Although, I didn't purchase the gyoza he was pitching. Silly me. But, when I can get gyoza for free from staff kitchen, I think it's all good.
So, after we finished shopping, David and I grabbed an ice cream and sat outside to eat. Its become our little tradition. We buy groceries. We buy ice cream. Yummm~ I decided to try something different and got Coolish. It had kinda a thick milkshake-y texture. Weeeird.

In other news, I had a good long chat with Todd tonight! It was great to hear from him. Gonna be chatting with Amanda sometime soon, too. And I have 5 days off coming up! Ah yeah! So, hopefully I'll be able to work on a new layout during that time. And Kyoko's making us get flu shots. NOOOOO! I hate shots! And I haven't had flu in like a billion years! I wish I didn't have to get it. ;___;

Oh well. I know she only wants us to get it so we don't get sick, or give the flu to someone else, but still. Gah. I go on the 16th. And hopefully it won't make me sick and I'll be able to go to town that day after. We'll see.

"Do you like Disneyland?"

Hey y'all. Just wanted to post to say hi. (And to avoid the patriarch giving me hell. XD)

No photo's for this post, sadly, as I don't have my camera. Angel couldn't find her camera, so I loaned her mine for her Tokyo trip. It's all good, though. Nothing much going on right now.

We had our newest family member join us today. Her name is Gayner. When she was getting off the bus the first thing I saw was her Ouran messenger bag. Yes. I think we'll get along just fine~ Ahahaha.

It's KUIS Parent invasion right now. They got here today and they leave tomorrow, but holy hell. Like 93 people. Plus school staff and bus staff. And they're ALL being treated like VIPs, since they pay for us to stay in business, essentially. Mori-san and Nishiwaki-san were buzzing about the desk ALL day! It was insane.

Suzi seems to be adapting to the desk really well. We were ambushed by kids yesterday. Lol. We had a school stay (over 200 kids!) and they ALL had to do a contact assignment. Basically, find a foreign staff member and ask them 3 questions. So, they all came up to Suzi and/or I and said the following:
"My name is ___. Nice to meet you. May I ask you some questions? Thank you."
They ALL said that exactly. It was like they all were reading a script. (Which, really, they probably were.) And then came the questions.
"What is your nickname? What is your favourite colour? What is your hobby? What sports do you like? Do you know AKB48/EXILE/Arashi? Who is your favourite Japanese singer? What is your favourite Japanese food? When did you arrive?" And more. I think the best question I was asked was: "Do you like Disneyland?"

It was cute, though. We answered questions for over an hour! So, in other news, Sara has me on a new face wash regimen, so hopefully this'll work. It's working so far, so we'll see. I'm currently using (Mum, look away now) antibacterial hand soap and a really good Nivea 24hr face cream. Ahahaha. It's actually working. A bit. Better than what I was using before. Lol. I find it kinda funny. XD

We went to karaoke a few nights ago with Yuta and Tomo. Yuta was leaving first, but I stayed to drive with Tomo. So, Yuta, David and Talia all took off. Keira, Tonya and I went with Tomo. Yuta had a 15 minute headstart and we still managed to beat them. With like 5 minutes to spare. Lol. It was hilarious. I love Tomo's driving. He goes like 80km around hairpin turns and it's awesome. Reminds me of mum's driving, back in the day. Ahahaha. I always feel like I'm taking my life in my hands when I drive with Tomo. Lol. It was a good time, though. David even sang! Talia got reeeeeally drunk, though. With karaoke, you pay by the hour and then you get unlimited drinks. So, for the alcohol package, it was 900yen per hour. I only got cola, though. I sang a lot, though! It was fun!

I'm trying to dig about for a photo to put up here, but I got nothing. I've been reading Wicked on my kobo for the past few days and I can't put it down. I tried a while back to read it and couldn't do it, but now I'm glad I'm trying it again. The book is really good! Lovelove!

In fact, I think I'll be going back to my book now. :D

Thus began the first (and possibly last) ever British Hills Dance Off.

Halloween was awesome. We had a big party at the pub. It was the Halloween/ Leaving / welcome party. Martin left the next day and Suzi and Mike had just arrived. I worked until about 10, but I changed quick and dashed over to the pub. I dressed as Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service (Majo no Takkyubin) and everyone knew who I was! It was awesome. I walked in to a chorus of 'Kiki-chan! Kawaiiiii!' ('Kiki! Cuuuute!')
I have to say, the scariest costume of the night belonged to Mike, the teacher. He dressed as a woman with the pink wig. He wore a scarf around his waist as a skirt and he padded his chest with socks. It was hilarious. Sam dressed up as Martin, complete with a mask. We all just hung out and chatted for a while, then Sam and Mike decided to get a dance contest going. Thus began the first (and possibly last) ever British Hills Dance Off. The first teams were Team Ouch and Team Ito Sisters. David, Martin and Yaz made up Team Ouch and Tatsuru's friend were the Ito Sisters. It was hilarious.
Team Ouch won the first battle. Thanks to Martin's hilarious leadership. Lol. The second battle was between Team Tatsuru Jackson and Team Saito's Rock-n-Rollers. It was so funny! Saito-san actually tried to breakdance on the carpet! (And he's like 40 years old!) And then Tatsuru and his friend did the worm on the floor!
Team Saito's Rock-n-Rollers: Saito-san and Mike.
Team Tatsuru Jackson's Hide with Team Saito's Yuta. Both of who were doing the Robot. XD
Team Tatsuru Jackson won by one vote. So, they took on Team Ouch for the finals. Team Ouch acquired another member, Mike (my friend) and decided to do a human pyramid. Team Tatsuru Jackson leap frogged. And then they all clustered in on each other and declared that they were Team TatsuOuch and that they all won. Lol.
So yeah. It was hilarious. After the party, we hung out in the living room with Sam and just chatted. But it was an awesome night!
